My Story

Hi I am Sally, Founder of ChiMe. I discovered Reiki during my time in the corporate world as a fantastic and natural way to manage stress, fatigue and pressure. My career demanded working very long hours and a constant juggling act. I absolutely loved what I did, and deeply cared for those that worked for me and with me, but it was not a healthy existence physically or mentally in the long term.

Thankfully I discovered Reiki.

So impressed by it’s benefits, I was inspired to study and qualify as a Reiki Master and Teacher.

However, life had other plans for me back then. Not long after, I left my caffeine and cortisol flooded career to start a family and raising my boys took over.

The universe has a funny way of keeping something that's intended for you in your orbit and offering it at just the right time and not a moment too soon. As I have gotten older and been shaped by being a mother, I have become more interested in how our environment and everything that we ingest and absorb from it affect us - in one way or another.

I am more convinced than ever about the transformative power of Reiki and other natural modalities. Through ChiMe, I hope to contribute to the growing shift in people’s approach to holistic wellness. I hope to help people in the same way this knowledge has helped me and dispel any misconceptions or limited beliefs about its suitability and benefits for all.

I have had many life experiences, some good and some really not good, but I feel so better equipped as a result from all that these experiences have taught me. With ChiMe, Reiki is at the heart of all that I do, but I will also be sharing some nuggets of gold picked up on my journey. Be it through sharing some of the wonderful words of wisdom I have read or by teaching useful techniques through breathwork, grounding and protection as tools to keep in your back pocket in times of need. I firmly believe that we all have the resources we need within us and given the right environment, we can all find a way to optimise ourselves and write our own story with enhanced access to what the universe intends for us.

Now is absolutely the right time for me to do this and I am very grateful to have this opportunity.
